The first sentence of the Pledge of Allegiance is definitive. Especially the words,
“one nation under God, indivisible.”
At least that used to be definitive. It was our mission statement. But is now anymore? Do you wonder what happened? Do you feel at a loss on what to do about it? Someone once said that all politics is local. What does that mean to you? You probably live here because you love this place, this wonderful, unique place, and would like to see it remain the refuge that it is.
The Polk County Republican Party is under New Leadership with a Community First vision.
We want to reach out to all of you who wish to maintain this lovely community, our freedoms, our faith, our constitution. Join us in creating a Common Sense vision for Polk County. We can’t do all that much about the crazy politics that happen in Washington D.C.
However, we can impact Polk County, and our State. Through use of the 10th amendment, extreme federalism at the state level, and tactical civics at the local level, we can work together to make Polk County an island of sanity for our families and keep it that way.
