Candidate Filing Period ends on Friday, July 19th at 12pm.
No earlier than 12:00 noon on the first Friday in July and no later than 12:00 noon on the third Friday in July preceding the election Only applies to municipalities with even year elections*
*Polk County now holds Municipal Elections in even numbered years at the same time as the general election. With passage of Senate Bill 265, Increase Municipal Election Participation Act in 2023.
