The Republican Party of Polk County relies on fundraising events like this gun raffle to run operations. The money raised locally is spent on our monthly utility bills for our headquarters facility, building maintenance expenses, annual property taxes, insurance, office supply expenses, printing costs of voter education material, and candidate financial support when feasible. Our staff of volunteers are not paid and we receive no funds from the state or national party. So, it comes down to the generosity of our volunteers and donors to keep the day to day operations going!
