In order to be seated as a Delegate to the County Convention, you must be a registered Republican as of January 31.

If you wish to serve as a Delegate to the County Convention, you MUST be present and checked-in for the Annual Precinct Meetings by 9:45am. Please complete your online registration by NOON on Friday, March 14, 2025, in order for the Credentials Committee to certify members attending the Annual Precinct Meetings and to allow for expedited entry. If you wish to serve as a Delegate to the District Convention (11th or 14th), or to the NCGOP State Convention, you must be seated as a Delegate to the County Convention OR submit an Absentia form when pre-registering online.

Limited same day registration will be available for $15 from 9:15am-9:45am

There will be a break between the Annual Precinct Meetings and County Convention. HQ will close following the conclusion of the Annual Precinct Meetings to allow time for Convention Committees to setup for the County Convention.

Only Delegates and Alternates elected at their Annual Precinct Meeting are eligible to attend the County Convention.

Registered Republicans in Polk County that attended their Annual Precinct Meeting and are not serving as a Delegate may attend as a Guest if space allows after all Delegates and Special Guests are checked-in.

NCGOP State Convention - June 5 - June 8, 2025 - Koury Convention Center, Greensboro, NC

The Polk County Republican Party is required to pay a $2 fee to the State Party for each delegate and alternate elected to the State Convention. The Polk GOP Executive Committee voted unanimously one year ago to charge a $10 Convention fee to cover the State Delegate/Alternate fee and associated costs for the County Convention per the NCGOP Plan of Organization.
